E-tutoring is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (2018-1-IT02-KA203-048005) that works to reduce academic drop-out rates with the development of a set of tools and a new tutoring system that combine career guidance, peer learning, social networks and new digital technologies.
The project consortium involves 8 partners from 6 countries.
Why a project to reduce academic drop-outs?
20-50%
of students in Europe do not complete their Higher Education and this represents a cost for individuals and the whole society (OECD, 2017).
40%
of people between 30 and 34 years old should have completed Higher Education in 2020 according to the European target (Europe 2020 Strategy).
4.9%
is the unemployment rate for people with higher education in Europe compared to 8.3 of those with upper secondary education (OECD, 2017).
